9s do sound nice Hopefully my tranny will hold up enough to get me there as well.

I have been following the post about the new shaft material....personally, if D&D was already going to re-build your existing tranny, I would talk with them about it first. Possibly just having it (and some other parts) cryoed. OTOH if that output/main shaft really is that much stronger (4.5 times) then the $750 for it may be worth it.....tough decision to make when no one has run that new shaft yet (putting it to the test). In theory, it sounds good. The first thing I would do is to call D&D about it....telling them your goals/needs. You also may want to talk to Mark (Montalvo) about it too....he has put 1000hp thru his T56 (D&D built/upgraded). Mark is a GREAT resource, and a super nice guy. I would talk to him too.

Let me know on your schedule....I dont want to have another meeting without you there!

Hey Guys. Sounds like i wont be alone at the bottom. But i dont care, i can still beat all of the people i know in my neighbor hood. One guy i know that i havent ran yet owns a 96 Eclipse I4 turbo. How fast are they? and do you think i have a chance against him? I just want to know so i know what the expect when i run against him. Just to let you know when i do run against him, i should have already visited bret and got my 58mm TB installed. I should have Matts TC, aluminum DS and jasons 3.73's installed. Along with the minor stuff like the gms Mass air flow sensor, computer reprogrammed, and the injectors cleaned. Just want to know all of your opinions. see-ya

Gary I have a set of stock tips that I was going to polish and have put on the car when the Y pipe is fabracated. I might also just buy a borla exhaust if I have any $ left over this spring.
