Engine work

I'm looking for a shop that will install a 383 stroker kit or do some serious tuning to an LT1. I tried Cartek, but they don't work on LT1s anymore. I've already talked to SLP, and they don't carry stroker kits for my car either...nor will they install them. I want to achieve 400+ hp NA, if you guys know of any specialists that can do that please let me know. Thanks.

PS: I live in central NJ, but I'm willing to travel to find the right shop/person.

I Recommend John Vantresca at Protech Performance in Toronto. I know its a drive but he can make good power and his work is resonably priced. 905 795 1951 Protechperformance.com

You could try Second Street Speed in Perkasie, PA. They built Baxter, InjuneerFred and John McMullen's car. Very reasonably priced.

There's also Cartek in Garwood, NJ but I haven't personally dealt with them.

Cool thanx for your help guys...i'll give those places a call. As for Cartek in Garwood, I called them already and they don't work with LT1's anymore. They only do LS1 and possibly the LS6 now...just for future reference for others with LT1's out there.
