Emissions/inspection on a 1975 Camaro in PA.
Hey everyone. I have a question regarding the passing of emissions and inspections on a 1975 Camaro. The car would be for daily driving, so that eliminates the possibility of registering it as a classic car (considering its restrictions on driving/miles).
I've tried googling it and such but haven't had much luck. Any ideas on what the inspection/emissions would involve for the Camaro to be A-okay for daily driving?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure whatever emissions equipment that came on that year camaro must still be intact for the visual, and working for the sniffer. Depending on what county you live in, whether they do both. Then you'll have your basic safety inspection, tires, brakes, shocks, lights, and so on. Find a local garage that is easy going on the emissions, but I wouldn't skimp on the "saftey" part of it. I gotta try to get away with no cat converters this spring... Good Luck.

found this on the PA DMV website. Decent guide to what they check.

It varies by county. Some make you pass the sniffer and some just do a visual. Also, being that it's a 75, you could change the plates to classic or antique and you would be exempt from all or most of the requirements.
