LE2 Heads, GM-847 Cam, and a 2800 stall

381 rwhp
368 rwtq

Blowing out the spark in the upper RPM's so its time for a hotter ignition in the near future, just draining more money out of me....

I got the car tuned by Bryan Herter @ pcmforless and a shop called DL Automotive. Both are great people to deal with. Also Mark at DL is trying to be competitive with mail order stuff. If anyone is interested in giving him a shot, shoot me a PM. But now i have a rear end or trans issue im not sure of. Im pissed off and will most likely figure whats wrong with it tomorrow.

Schweet97Z... I grew up in Danville, PA. I still get up in that neck of woods quite often to see family.

ouch... sounds like you are hearing some not so good noises. The pinion nut is next to impossible to just "come loose". its a locking nut that cannot, or should not back of ever. whats is it doing? grinding?

Brian, yea i know its a locking nut thats why i say maybe transmission? There is a growl I heard when i was backin into the garage when i got home from the dyno. It makes it in both forward and reverse, but its louder in reverse and is harder to move. I dunno what to think except im pissed off! Maybe the carrier blew apart? who knows. Brian im just going to make it simple because there is so much more to type....im going to call u lol....

Nice numbers congrats, I put down very similar numbers with my previous LE2 heads and cc306 setup also with a mail order tune by Bryan.

Drew Showers - I graduated in '81 ... a LONG time ago ...

What's your name? My brother is still in Danville. He's the owner of Autoweld Chassis and Components. I need to get my car up there soon to get the chassis stiffened up a little.
