A year or so ago my mother told me of a girl that she learned about through one of her message boards that was diagnosed with cancer. She had a long battle, but unfortunately lost her life last May. There will be a car show/cruise in her name, raising money for area children that need help. If any of you are interested, here is the link with the info. I followed this girl's sad story for a while and it was sad to hear she'd lost her battle. I never like to hear such things about anyone, especially one this young.
