Unhappy Help!!!

Sorry about the problems with the car.....Jason Short ( a moderator here) is pretty much "the Man" on LT1's. s
Shoot him a e-mail @ jhsformula@aol.com, he might be able to help.

On another note, I work part time @ Doan Chevrolet, if that's any help in the future.

Gary

Any other things going on? I could probably give you an idea of whats going on if you could give some more symptoms.

Off the top of my head with what your saying your rocker arms could be too tight, Did you adjust them your self? Could it be something as simple as a rag stuck in the intake track?

What about your plugs, and wires? Any burned or possibly crossed?

Any codes, data logs, etc?

With all the time Ive spent diagnosing my car I could give you a decent idea too.

You have codes? Go to autozone and they will read them for free...do you have Autozones out your way?

Fix that plug wire, thatll cause a miss and lack of power for sure.

also i put on hooker longtubes so i had to make O2 extentions was that a bad thing to do? i did not want to pay $25 a piece for extentions.

You could have fudged up the extensions. If the O2s aren't getting the right info the car will go into limp home mode I think which basically means it runs just enough to get you home.

A bad O2 connection will surely throw a code. You do have codes right? Thatll give us a lot of info....
