Anyone doing E-town or Atco in May?

I'm looking to do some T n T, maybe some brackets, with the new gears to see where the car is running at. Was wondering if anyone else was making a trip to the track in the month of May. Seems like E-town is Mopar for the month of May. Atco is a bit of a haul, but I'm game if there's a group down there.

...and I complianed of a long haul to Atco!!!

Hmmmm... maybe May 8th at Atco. Do you think it will be crowded then? I might just skip the brackets and do only TnTs so I can get a few more runs in.

Ron, I checked ATCO's schecule. Look like something in addition to the bracket race. "Stock\Superstock" thing. I don't know what it is but my guess it will be packed. Atco doesn't run T&T sessions durning the bracket races. Maybe 2 time shots then eliminations. Yea I have a 2 hour hall to ATCO.

Ron, Maple Grove has Friday night grudge racing (t&t) in May 5/7, 5/14 and 5/21. I'm going to go to a couple of those next month. They dont have any Sat t&t days next month, they hardly have any at all actually and when they do they're packed. Last time I got 3 runs in all day. I don't know if you get to Cecil but thats a great track, they have a lot of Friday night racing there next month. I don't usually make it down there on fridays though. Their next Sat t&t day is 5/29, I should be there for that one.

Thanks for the heads up on MG. Friday nights are a bit tough. Especially with rt422 N traffic. Have never been to Cecil. But I will have to figure something out between the three tracks soon.... July 10th at E-town is too far away and I'm chomping at the bit to see where in the 13's the new gears and PCM changes will put me. It has to be better than 14.2s all day long.

Cecil is a great track, it's small and not anywhere near as crowded most of the time as the Grove. I just ran t&t there Sat at the AIS shootout and got in 7 or 8 runs and that was by 1pm. I always get almost twice as many runs in there as I do at the Grove. I would guess you would be running mid to upper 13's with the mods you have now, those gears should make a big difference getting you moving off the line over the 2:73's. Let me know if you can get to the Grove one of those days, I'll try to make it.

Ron, I'll be at Atco on 5/8 and 5/29 with Jim. Im not going to make it this weekend due to a wedding, but I'll have my car back on thursday... and I'll be ready and I WILL be at Atco on those dates....lol.

I may make a t-n-t somewhere next week before my first time back to a bracket event. As for e-town, not sure whats going on.... but im not opposed to it on an off week if there is an event that intrests me (that means NO IMPORTS RACES!!)

1) looks like Cecil is a run down the blue route and then 95 to Maryland? That will definitely have to be a saturday jaunt. I'll have to go to their website and see if something cools is going on to make the trip worthwhile.

2) Atco is looking good for 5/8 and 5/29, but I have to make sure The Carol doesn't have any hidden plans for my butt. Like the unexpected 10 yards of mulch last saturday. I'll resign myself to the brackets. Who knows, I might win one. But I think it'll take me a few passes to figure getting off the line without spinning.

3)I hear ya on the screaming lawn mowers. That's kinda of why I won't be to E-town until July.

I'm thinking of E-town on a Wednesday night, I haven't been to the track since last year and I'm itching to go.
