i did a burn out one night on a state route road in ohio...and a cop was on teh other side of hte road at a light..i didnt see him...well he busted a U-ey and came after me...he pulled me over and told me that he could give me 6 points for wreckless op....was he sh *ttin me or can they really give that many points for a burn out form 0-40mph?

 

I can't seem to find much material on Ohio Driving laws.. But from what I found, the only six point offense is street racing.. One site listed reckless as 4 points.. But he may have been able to get you for reckless and speeding, which is 2 additional adding up to 6..

One thing I must say, your point penalties are very lenient compared to those here in DE.. No matter how much you speed, you only get 2 points.. Even over 100 lol... I got 2 points for 9 over, you automatically lose your license for 25 or more over.. You guys are lucky out there. Then again maybe they're less lenient when writing the ticket than the police here in DE are...

He didn't ticket you did he? Just lectured you it sounds like...

 

He probably could tack up the points like that... wreckless driving, exhibition of speed, and anything else he can think of at the moment. Trust me, if he said he could give you 6 points, then he definitely had more than 1 ticket in mind
