hey gang,
i just wanted to let everyone know that we got our date from e-town today. it is gonna be saturday august 23rd. we will be sharing soem space with teh corvette challenge, but they only take up 2 or 3 lanes, so they won't really be in our way.
i have one last meeting with my web designer sunday and then we shoudl have the site up and running soon(i coudln't put a site together that worked so i am havign one of my brothers friends help)
teh idea this year is to get back to teh plan that was in place before we had the date change last year. we are gonna try to have an autocross, dyno, drag racing and car show, sponsors, give aways, vendors, and prizes.
we ahve a lot fo work ahead of us, stay tuned here for updates and keep an eye out for the new web site that will be coming soon.

i just got off the phone with year one/next gen parts adn we are locked in to get teh goodie bags back that we gave out the first year. we got enough to hand them out to the first 500 f-bodies through the gates
i also have a meetign with the person who is doing the web site for us this weekend. the site will be assembled and runnign with in the next 2 weeks. so if anyoen has any pics of their rides that they woudl liek the world to see send them to me at njspeeder@f-bodynationals.org soon.

You know I'll be there buddy! I wouldnt miss it. Hopefully by August my car will be good enough to run in the heads up class, but we will see. It will be tough to do by then, but either way I'll be there. Oh, and I have a great pic of a certain red Z pulling the wheel on the starting line. If I ever manage to get a copy of it on the computer I'll send it. Right now its an 11x14 and too big for my scanner.

 

And I will be there also. I will be defending my title in the slick catagory. I will see if I can take again. Had Alot of fun last year and my car ran really well. Can't wait till that time comes around again.

I dunno very many 1st gens out in this area....

 

any year, any trim level, any condition, from anywhere is welcome.
the only thing you have to do is be ready for 8 hours of things to do and see.

a little update for everyone, with teh web site almost finalized i have started talking to vendors and potential site advertisers. the interest is there and we are gonna do our best to develop the best pile of prizes ever.
we are also looking to be done with our official flyer by mid january. it will be available online for down load as soon as it is completed.
