I was reading a Camaro Mod book. And they said that the ZZ9 cam can produce 45 Hp on a LT1. Where can I find some info on it??

IMO the hotcam kit, or cc305 would be better. I think the hotcam kit would be a better value over the zz9.

Would it be better to get the cc305 and match some RRs,springs.retainers etc.

 

In case you don't know the specs on the 305:

220/230 .510/.510 /w 1.5 rockers, .544/.544 /w 1.6 rockers. 114 LSA.

It's up to you on what you buy, but the difference between the hot cam and the 305 would be small especially with 1.5's on the 305.

For RR's, cam, springs, etc. I don't think you'll beat the price on the hot cam kit. Check combination motorsports(www.cmotorsports.com). They don't have it listed on their site, but the may offer the cc305 in a kit with rr's, springs, etc. for a good price. I would give them a call and compaire prices with the hot cam. Also, I think Jason cromer can get the hot cam kit cheaper than pace, but I'm not sure what he charges for it. He can be reached be reached at 877-726-8295 M-F 8:30am-5:30pm Central time. If you find the prices to be close get the 305 on a 112 LSA with 1.6 rr's for that little extra bit .
