zo6 magnesium wheels what is the weight

What is the weight for them. I know it has to be lower then average but how low?

the only place i could find a set for decent price is on corvette forums. Retail is way too expencive

i think i found someone seeling a set for $900 so if you search you can get a set for a hell of a prie. Course i missed out by a couple of months, but....

Z06 wheels are not magnesium, they are aluminum. 2001 are cast aluminum, while 2002-2004 are "spin cast" aluminum. They are still about the lightest wheels you'll find. The only magnesium C5 wheels were optional on the Coupe/Vert and were a thin 5 spoke design that is actually different than any other C5 wheel. Sizes were 17x8.5" front and 17x9.5" rear. Costs are about $1000 per wheel, and they actually weigh about the same as the Z06 wheels.
