Zero Gas Milage

Now i know this is no 4 cylinder ricer but i am barely getting 200 miles to a tank on a bone stock 96 z wat could be going on

how many miles on the car? how do you drive it? when was the last time it had a basic tune up? if i ran my car hard i would barley get 200 also, but if i ***** footed it around i could get awesome gas mialge

Sounds like O2s or MAP sensor. You should definitely be getting more. I got 26 mpg on an 1100 mile trip home this summer. That was with A/C cranking... City is a little worse, like 18mpg....

Edit: Do you have an M6 or A4? M6s are better on the highway while A4 are better in the city.

around town... the way i drove i only got about 180 miles to a tank

on the highway with cruz on i got up to 27mpg tho

I barely get 200 as well. That was w/ a 97 z28 w/ 24k miles on it when I first bought the car. I took off my cats no I get around 220 but still. What is the norma supposed to be? My car has some mods on it so that may affect the mpg.

well, when i drove from texas.... it was 80mph on the cruise control, a/c at full blast the whole time... averaged 26.9 mpg for the whole 1700 mile trip
