z28/SS

Where does the horsepower difference come from between the z28 and the SS. It's that same engine right. Im looking into buying the V8, now that i can afford it but i wanted to know this. The price is a little different between the two also so I was just wondering if going a little cheaper is worth it.

Mainly from the ram air induction and better exhaust. The engine is internally the same, so don't spend the extra bucks on an advertised "SS engine"...

If you plan on going fast for the least amount the money, the Z is the way to go. I feel you can't beat the look of the SS, though.
