Angry z28 is making weird noise, but running fine?

I have been having problems with my car lately. I replaced the optispark a couple weeks ago. The car ran like a dream. Then I ran into problems again. Turns out plug wires were cut. So I put stockers back on and got new wires. I put them on tonight. There were burned wires and messed up wires again. So after spending the whole evening re-routing wires around my headers I thought for sure this thing would be running smoothly again. All wires are new and working good. The car runs good, but its making almost like a clicking noise on the right hand side of the car, and when u turn the car off it makes a low hissing sound. This is the only thing wrong now. What could this be? Any suggestions would help. It sounds like a valve, but there is no backfiring. I am stumped.

I have a ram air intake off of a 96 ss with functional hood. Its not that type of hiss. I have never heard it before, its real strange, its doesnt affect anything that I know of, I just hear it when i open up the hood and get close to the motor. It on the passenger side. Its only after I turn the car off. I have no idea what it is. I guess if it isnt hurting anything then i dont have to worry about it. Ill try and tighten the spark plug tomorrow. The more gas u give it however, the louder it gets. I've never heard anything like it before. I'm gonna work on it some more in the morning, since I've almost got it running good. I'll get back with you on whether thats it or not.

Are you sure you never heard this hissing sound before? I know my car has done it since I put my CAI on. And my buddy with a 95 Z-28 does the same thing. I would say its normal. But I dont know how you have never heard it before. Go back and check to see if your AIR tube fell off your intake .

I dont believe the hissing was coming from the ac, but it went away, and I havent heard it since last night. However, I got all the plug wires situated good and there is no miss anymore. But, I still have a clicking noise from what appears to me to be coming from the valve covers. anyone got any ideas. The plugs are snug.
