i have no clue what year Z06 cam my buddies ss has in it,but would it work or beable to be installed in my 1994
LT1 motor? my buddy bought his 02 ss and the kid installed a Z06 cam. i think 03 was the first Z06?

 

An LS1 camshaft will not work in an LT1 motor, sorry. You need an LT1-specific grind.

2001 is first year for a Z06 I believe. They had LS6 engines, which is nothing like an LT1/LT4. LT1 Corvette camshafts were the same as the camaro's. The LT4 camshaft is so close to the LT1 it is not worth it to swap, the LT4 "hotcam" is different though. The hotcam is bigger and has more duration.
