Your thoughts....3in or 2.5in true duals???
I have some 2.5in mandrel bends to make a true dual h-pipe setup. Should i do away with the 2.5in pipes that i already have or go with 3in true duals? I dont see why 2.5in wouldnt flow enough. Even with my future heads/cam plans. What do you guys think?
Depending on what you plan on doing with your car I'd probably opt for the 2.5, especially if it is driven on the street. A true 3" exhaust is usually too much for a small block on the street and alot of people actually hurt themselves with too open of an exhaust. I'd ask whoever the cam and heads are coming from.
Heres 2 pics of the 2.5in piping i have now. Im thinking if a 500rwhp 03 Cobra i looked at uses 2.5in pipe then i shuold be more than fine. Anyway here are the 2 pics just to give you an idea.
