Re: your favorite...

I loved the catless SLP 2otl also on my auto car but hated it on my six speed. I ended up putting a magnaflow cat back on and it was all better. The six speed was alot louder for some reason.

Do a search (millions of posts on this), listen to some cars, everyone's opinion is different, decide what you can live with long term.

Re: your favorite...

It all depends on what ya want...if you are looking for the extra 1.25 horsepower dont go flowmaster but if you dont care and hate the way poorla and madnaflows sound why not? I have flowmaster and wouldnt mind stepping up to a Hooker or a SLP LM. It also depends on your pocket and how much you can put into it. IMHO SLP (or Hookers) w/ no cats and a nice set of headers is

i second this setup, everybody knows when im around, no mistaking the sound, plus borla has the million mile warranty. Then if you want it quieter some days, get the DMH Borla electric cutout.

Same setup i'm running. Up to about 2k rpm it sounds good, once i get on it, it starts to sound like crap. BUt at WOT you can't find a louder system.

Re: your favorite...

Keep your eye out for a used Borla catback system. I got mine off of LS1.com for $330 shipped--still looked new. Add in a DMH electric cutout for $150 (group purchase), and you'll have a great sounding system. If you !cats, invest in a couple dynatech cones to put in your LT's--they're $60 each and REALLY help give a deeper tone while wiping out any rasp/popping. I couldn't be happier with my set-up.
