your favorite exhuast system for an lt1. I have a 1997 trans am formula. I want a loud exhuast but still gives a little kick to it. I was thinking of flowmaster 80 series american thunder.

Re: your favorite...

If you want loud, go with the SLP LM, if you don't like the sound of it once you start to add alot of parts then I suggest true duals w/Flowmaster one chamber race flows.

Re: your favorite...

I have a Magnaflow I picked up for about ~250-260 from ebay, brand new and stainless. Can't beat its quality for the price. Sounds very nice too. A bit loud with the cam, no cats and long tubes though.

Re: your favorite...

If money wasn't an issue, I'd say go ASM with a single cat Y-Pipe, Random Tech Cat, and the eye/ear candy Corsa Cat-Back.

Re: your favorite...

i got about $550 to spend on the exhaust as of today... i dont know what i should do with that besides the exhaust or maybe a short ram intake or save it for a rainy day (we all know these cars eventually have problems) i have an M6 so the clutch will have to be replaced eventually. oh btw how much does a procharger usually cost and how much hp do the add (lets say with a 6lb boost or so maybe more)

Re: your favorite...

Mines a little loud: Hooker Longtubes, no cats and a ypipe, no muffler or cats
After the cam install I am going to run the Hooker Longtubes into an offroad True Duals.

Re: your favorite...

Do it right and do it one time. Jethot LT's, X-pipe Duals, 14-18" bullets.

If your exhaust is still stock, save your money and go w/ some long tubes and Borla's

When you say Borla's , You mean't duals with XR1's, and X-pipe ? If so good choice. If you meant the cat back w/adj. plates, that system only comes with one muffler. I just wanted to clear things up.
