you think this is balanced

Ok so i got my motor back from the machin shop and noticed it didnt have the flywheel on it.so if they balanced the bottom end and wen i go to put my flywheel on it will throw it off.crank is inturnal balanced.(383 lt1)

Use a flywheel with no weight on it and you should be ok.

Lokk at a stock flywheel or flexplate , the added weight welded on sticks out like a sore thumb. Ask your machinist if he balanced it with a weighted flywheel or a neutral fly and go from there.

If it's neutral or internally balanced you will have to get a flywheel that is zero balanced. Stock LT1's are internally balaned in the front and externally blanced in the rear using the flywheel.

If all else fails you can take a stock one , have the weight removed and have it neutral balanced.

Make sure it is neutral balanced, if not have it balanced. (machine shop)
