Also sold at Summit for $250 (don't think they make it in non-vented)
I'm not positive that My opti has, in fact, started to go bad but I have a bad feeling that it is the root of most of my problems. I have read a few things on all of these and I just wanted some of your opinions and what some of you have heard of any one of these.. I am not building a monster so just one of these replacements will do. (no coil pack setups)

Re: ?? for you Opti Experts
Summit DOES make a non-vented optispark, i just bought an otpi for my 1996 Z/28 and it fit right on...if im not mistaking 93 & 94 is a non-vented opti and 95-97 is a vented system, just look up the opti in summit's "online store" section, and look it up by your engine, make sure once you specify what it is, you select your car's year, and click ignition components and start looking
Re: ?? for you Opti Experts
Stay VERY far away from the Dyna spark. Know 2 people who have had many problems and there service really sucks. Not trying to flame them but when they "loose" the one you send in for repair what can you do.
Re: ?? for you Opti Experts
ShoeStopper; not looking for OEM
Sweetred; I know that my car is nonvented, that is why I'm looking for a better option
imnotfast; well the Dynaspark has that problem MSD had the hard to set timing screw and the Accel has a bushing not a berring and the OEM is a POS (this is what I have read)
I'm not going for big HP.
What would you guys suggest?

Honestly you cant go wrong with the stocker or the MSD unit. All i can tell you for sure is a stock one has taken me in the daily driver camaro to high 10's with 156,000 miles on it. Its a vented one. Now I am switching to the MSD seeing the engine is out.
