You issue about Cam Changes causing problems?
You issue about Cam Changes causing problems?
I'm guessing everyone has by now heard the story that doing an "in car" cam change on an LT1 will cause engine problems.
I even remember seeing some discussion on that here.
Does anyone know if a conclusion was ever reached? Is there actually a confirmed problem? If so, is it avoidable/preventable?
I can't seem to locate any definitive information on it.

It's a possible problem if you're rough w/ the cam re-install.... Though I've done 2 in the past month and a half... No problems here. Maybe it's just bad luck?? Or lack of preventive maint?
My guess is there's no "confirmed" problem. Unless myself, along w/ the 8475893654 others who haven't had an issue are all equally lucky.
