im in the market for a new tranny/rebuild, and high stall TC. if you had $2000, how would you spend it? i want a vigi 2800 stall, and a tranny cooler, who should i get to build it? there arent any good perf. tranny shops around here, just regular ones like AAMCO,etc. help me spend $2000. i need it to hold around 360-380rwhp, should be what im pushin. thanks

2000 should be PLENTY. I would not go to aamco, or any other place like that, it seems like they never do good PERFORMANCE rebuilds. There is an online place that does them, but i cant remember the name.

i'll let them answer it- I dont want to accidently mislead anyone.

edit:

seth-
stop practicing circus tricks and get that website fully operational!
or at least give me an 800 number to call... I'm tired ofcalling your 1-900 $4.95 a minute calls. Your receptionist never answers my questions, but she sounds damn sexy and can think of some pretty crazy things to do with those XE cams

GM has a new crate tranny, 4L65E, #24221888.

Not sure how good it is, but I saw it in the August edition of Hot Rod magazine. They're using it behind an LS6.

Might be worth looking into.

Hey all. Our transmissions all have a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty no matter what converter you use, but if you buy a Vigilante from us and the converter breaks (when a converter breaks it usually ruins the transmission as well), we'll fix the tranny free of charge. With other converters, you still get the same unbeatable 1 year/12,000 mile warranty, but it does not cover damage caused by a blown up torque converter.

Hope that explains a little better.

Should you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to give us a call. Thanks.
