yet another opti question...
Ok so has anyone ever had their opti die out of nowhere?
a couple nights ago i was on my way back from some girl's house and as i was pulling onto the highway(4k rpms in 2nd gear on the on-ramp) the car shuts off. there was no lack of power, no sputtering, no....well, nothing
then the car doesnt start so i have it towed, and find out the car is throwing a code 36(opti-spark, distributor)
i thought that an opti goes slowly over the course of time? am i the only one that had one die out of nowhere???
btw two days earlier i went out to englishtown and got my first 13second timeslip, trapping 101.23 mph with the only mods being u/d pullies, a cai, and a shifter

Re: yet another opti question...
No, you are not the only 1 this has happened to. Sounds like you rotor came part. See if you have spark at the coil. Then, check to see if you have spark at the plugs.
