yank torque thruster with 2.73's?

is anyone here running one of these? i read that the yank torque thruster 3.0 is made for high geared cars to get them out of the hole quicker. i am interested in how it drives and what kind of gains were recorded with this convertor. i have 2.73's and love the top end of these gears but i'm looking for a way to take off a little faster without doing gears.
thanks,
Michael.

The high STR works well with 2.73's, better than a rear end gear change. With a good set of sticky tires (assuming you have a posi), you could pick up 3-5 tenths (most of the gain in the first 60 feet) in the quarter mile.

and that leads to my other question...you said sticky tires will give me a gain of 3-5 tenths. i've seen stock camaros gain 3tenths of a second just from having slicks on. so am i gonna gain 3-5 tenths with street tires? currently i have 255 series BFG Comp TA's on the rear. they seem to hook decently. i was pulling 2.12 60' on them with a stock M6 when most of the others were in the 2.24-2.3 60' range.
