y-pipe with jet hots?

what options are there as far as mating a y-pipe to jet hot longtubes? will the mufflex y-pipe work with it, has anyone even tried it or is everyone going with a custom fabbed y?

Mufflex, Hooker, custom. I'm running the Hooker and it bangs the sh*t out of my floorboard.

I'd agree with ibanez6rg, the damn Hooker y-pipe beats the bottom of the car when you get on the gas. Normal driving it doesnt do it though.

Atleast your hooker y-pipe fit, I had to drive it to an exhaust shop with open headers to get it bent. Mine doesnt bang, they cut down the tranny brace, but I had to bend the heat-shield in my engine bay out to stop the massive rattle.

Did you also have a rattle after your y-pipe was installed? Mine rattles like crap now. Sometimes in P, always in D and never in N. I haven't really looked into it though.

Yeah it was the headers though, on the driver side if you look down you will see them resting on the heat shield, I think its the brake lines, but I cant remeber off the top of my head. The exhaust shop that bent the y-pipe also cut down the transmission brace about 1/2 inch above the y-pipe, so it doesn't hit there. Mine used always rattle in D, but its alot better. I'm going to try to find the rest of the rattles, but its 90% gone now.
