solid motor mounts, I had some header issues when the motor torqued but solid mounts fixed that.

I don't know where mine is hitting, just under the pass. side. I believe the muffler shop told me that it is hitting some plate that moves and flexes when you go. But it only does it at WOT!

What kind of mounts did you get and where did you buy them at? I have this problem as well and i'm pretty sure my mounts are shot. Thanks!

just get some prothane motor mounts from thunder racing for $50

takes a little while to install but it completely eliminated the engine twist on my LS1.

and NO increase in vibrations were noticed

I believe I got them from summitracing.com.

Poly will be stiffer then stock, but nothing is as stiff as solid steel. And yes, you will get some vibes over stock, an expecially with a cam, you'll feel it. Which, is not really a bad thing,

The heater hose hasn't melted yet been in for a couple of weeks, and the rubber kinda acts like a bushing.

I had the same problem with my FLP pipes. I tried bending them with a huge prybar, and I used to wrap it with header wrap. The poly motor mounts finally solved it and I am really happy with the mounts. The car feels great.

Thanks guys....I put a piece of hose in there, from my AIR system, and it seems to absorb it okay...much better than the grinding noise of metal on metal. I'll come up with something better one of these days, but for now this will do.
