another header question. i searched but couldn't really find a straight answer on the topic: y-pipe fitment on long-tube headers. anyone have either pics or a testimonial on how their y-pipe fit with the headers? the only experience i have first hand is my friends hooker pipe with his jet hots... and the fitment sucked horribly. one was open header one was through the driver side of the ORY.

i ask only because i'd rather not have someplace do a custom job, i'd like to be able to bolt it on without too much drama...

oh btw if anyone has an LT + Y-pipe setup that came off their car already fitted... LMK...

My Jet Hot's fit perfectly on my hooker y pipe. I've also heard about people having problems. Guess it depends on how lucky you get.

 

my y-pipe is custom and it bangs grrr

need to take it back to the shop one of these days and get them to fix it

 

ill be installing my y pipe as soon as i get it, ill tell u how it fits

i got jet hot lt's and have my hooker y pipe being sent in the mail.... should get here today

edit yea it just came here damn its beautiful.

i got a complete hooker exhaust now...
