I did a search and found some info. I will have stage 2 P&P heads with my 230 236 and have the double valve springs. Will the 1.6 rockers clear?

it all depends on which 230/236 you have.

Your lift will be .544/.555

As long as you didn't mill the heads more than the usual amount you should be fine.

Tyler!!! I didn't see this post untill now... Sorry, lol... The 230/236, that's what cam you are going with?! I was thinking you were going with something like the 236/242 or bigger from the way James talked about how "huge" your cam was, lol.

 

http://www.cmotorsports.com/lt1customcamshafts.htm has the xe236 listed as a 236/244 i thought it was a 236/242 not 244, or is it just because its a custom grind.

what is the most lift peole are able to run on non milled heads and the factory heads gaskets. has anyone attempted over a .600 lift with succsess.

 

94 bad a z28, I to was thinking of going with the 236-242 instead of the 230-236. I won't be getting it done until mid summer, if you get it done first let us know how it goes.

 

I was just saying that is what I thought he was going with, lol.

But I do plan on doing a heads and cam package... And it will be the XE 236/242. So when the ordering starts, I'll let y'all know!

Ya eddie, but there is a treat to my cam its on a 111 hehehe It will lope like a mother. They heads a BAD also. I'll let you know when I start it you can come over for sure. Hope all is well. I am taking the word that is will work with 1.6 rockers.

They clear just fine... I just installed mine .. 230/236 - but the new grind w/ more lift.. on a 110LSA .

 

so what is your lift on the cam with just 1.5rr
