x pipe for 94-97 camaro
x pipe for 94-97 camaro
i have a question i saw on this website that this guy bought a x-pipe for his 95 camaro Z28 which would replace the y-pipe and make it a true dual exhaust. i have pic of it from his website. i want to buy a 95-96 Z28 camaro with t-tops as my first car (im 16 turning 17 in 12 days) and when i talk to my friends about car stuff they ask why the camaro was made with a y-pipe. and i want to get the camaro and make it a dual exhaust.
If you put an x pipe and duals in there you will loose tons of ground clearance. It wont be worth it unless you have long tube headers. Then you will have little ground clearance anyway
edit: Here is a company that does duals to go along with long tubes. There are pics and vids...

Not to sure how much ground clearance you will lose with that one. I have seen pics of people who have fabbed up there own true dual system and not any ground clearance besides what the LT's already gave up.
The pic. there would be the X pipe you would need. After that just run to pipes up and over the axle with some bullet mufflers, or just slap on some bullets with turn down's and don't worry about over the axle. Either way works.
