Wtf!!!!! Not Again!!!!!!

About 6 months ago when i installed my Hooker LT's, i ran into a small problem.. . . .. the fuse thats in the relay box (under the hood) kept blowing out labeled "Engine Sensor"... The problem fixed itself and i was on my way. . . .Until about a week ago!!! I have done NUMEROUS searches on this website and NOTHING!!!

I have tried: disconnecting all 4 o2's, the maf, the skip shift, and the reverse solenoid!!! WTF!!!!!

Anyone have any ideas????? SHOEBOX. . . . . .INJUNEER?????? PLEASE HELP!!!

Re: Wtf!!!!! Not Again!!!!!!

Forgot to mention what was really weird: When i put the car on the jack and it was lifted and i turned the car on with a new fuse, it would not pop. BUT while the car was on and i would lower the car, i could hear the fuse pop!!! WTF this is weird......

So the fuse pops while i lower the car. And it always pops while the car is on the ground.

Re: Wtf!!!!! Not Again!!!!!!

Sounds like you have a short in the wiring somewhere. My guess would be to start by getting a print of the wiring and isolate the circuit. Then trace it out and find the short. It sounnd like you have a suspension pice hitting something. When the car is off the ground its not shorted. Look around the front end for wiring that is pinched or rubbung against something.

Re: Wtf!!!!! Not Again!!!!!!

My guess would be that you have some wires that are grounding out as you level out the car. Try tracing the O2 sensor wires back to the looms, but it would be my guess that they got burnt and are grounding out on a header primary.

The fix could be as simple as putting some electrical tape around the wires and zip tying them away from whatever they are grounding out on.

Re: Wtf!!!!! Not Again!!!!!!

Almost guaranteed that it is an O2 wire burned by your header.

Re: Wtf!!!!! Not Again!!!!!!

Yep the tranny , oil level and O2 wires go right by there. I bought a sleeve to put them all through when I added headers.
