So when I change over to the CSI waterpump, can I just leave the little driveshaft that comes out of the timing chain cover or do I really have to pull the cover and remove it. I know it would be better to remove it, but all I really want to know is if it will start to leak if I don't remove it. Danks.

 

I removed the wp driveshaft and plugged the wp ds seal on the timing cover. I figured it's a dummy driveshaft and does nothing now with the electric wp.
