Question would this work on stock lt1 heads

im lookin to upgrade the valve train on my stock heads to get ready for the gm 847 cam and was wondering if these springs would work im on a very very tight budget due to having to relocate to a new job but im still trying to get my valve train in order to run the car till i can get a better set of heads thanks

Sorry, there's no way for me to know. I couldn't find any of the specs on those springs.

UPDATE: I went back and double checked and I found the specs. Just as posted by Airborne.

Not enough spring pressure with those. I don't know of anything that will work in that price range - the parts I use add up to about $250 for the mild street setups.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT skimp on valvetrain components. If you're on a very very tight budget, save a bit longer for a reputable valve spring and hardware.

what cam are you trying to use them with?

I would not use that set up at all but I can probably steer you in the right direction on what sprinsg will work at a good price.

As listed above.....doesn't look like nearly enough seat presure to control a more aggressive lobe. I'd stay far away from those. Just my .02.

Lots of folks are favoring the Patriot "Gold Extreme" kit now days that comes with everything and can handle most cam grinds out there (hear-say).
