Installing Opti - 3 Options on where to put alignment dowel.

I see three diffrent slots for the dowel, one has a mark on it. just wanted to verify.. is the one with the mark the one that gets the pin from the cam?

Thanks

Speaking from the experience of my own mistake, it's rather easy to get the dowel pin into the other two slots. I used barely any force at all to slide my optispark in place and had it in the wrong slot.

Depending on how comfortable you feel taking off the front cover of the optispark, it makes it a LOT easier to install the optispark while you hold the rotor angled where you want it. In my case, I lined the slots up but when I slid the optispark on the rotor apparently rotated down and the dowel pin went into the wrong slot. If you hold the rotor, then you'll know EXACTLY which slot it will be going into.

I put a rubber band around it and got it lined up. I used the rubber band to move it just a tiny bit back and forth to be sure the pin when in, then i cut the band off. . im about 99.8% sure its correct. Thanks
