Would a LT install be easier with the tranny out?

I know the tranny isn't exactly in the same area as where the headers bolt up. I'm just wondering if it would make it easier to move your arms around under there with no tranny in the way. I plan on doing my converter install myself and a LT install around the same time if I get some. Wanna make it as easy as possible ya know. Thanks

Might as well take the tranny out since you're putting in a t/c, also. Not exactly sure if it will be easier, but couldn't hurt to find out!

I dont really think it will help much but more room is more room. Not sure of the dimensions of the Auto trans but it couldnt hurt.

Yes it will make some of the tranny bolts a little easier to get to. I installed my converter after my hooker lt's.
