Would a leaking/blown head gasket make the car undrivable?

I am suspecting a head gasket problem, but the car still runs decent. If you search my name you can see why I suspect the head gasket.
So did your cars still operate somewhat normally?

Yep it still runs, just not the best. Hell it still ran a 12.0 with a bad blown header gasket.

Its not really going to hurt anything too terribly, as long as you keep the coolant full. But i wouldnt drive it any longer than i had to.

It could blow your motor if you drive it too hard or too long. If the head gasket leaks coolant into the cylinder it could hydralic it and possible bend a rod or damage something else on the bottem end. A couple weeks ago we had to replace a motor in one of the cop cars because the intake gasket blew on the #1 cylinder causing coolant to go into the cylinder. The cop kept driving it all weekend and it was knocking pretty dang bad.
