Most people see something good out of it..

I'd say you could with your setup..

It would help with the headers...

For what it costs I'd throw it in either way...

if you were planning on getting your car tuned you could have them "desensitize" the knock module for you as part of the tune. then you don't even need to spend a dime on it!

Easy to install, 15 minute project. I have one, cheap part. Iam running Mac mid headers and 1.6 rockers. Cant really say it adds horse power but installed one anyway.

If you have a loud exhaust and or aftermarket roller rockers or if you're engine is old and "loose" and makes a little more valvetrain noise than it used to, the LT4 KM will add some hp as it won't retard the timing like the LT1 unit will.

I think it's a nice piece. I have the dual Bullets w/ x pipe so my car shakes A LOT and has a good bit of vibration. Plus I have headers, so I thought it would be a good investment to get the KM. Couldn't hurt.

i beleive all you need is the sensor which is less sensitive. not the module...

I just picked up 10RWHP and 8TQ with it on an otherwise stock LT4 motor:

If you have roller rockers, anything done to the exhaust or more significant mods (cam), then it is Definitely worth it. As to desensetizing the KM, why? Try the LT4 KM first, if you still see false knock then worry about finding another way to fix it. I'd guess though, that 90% of the time the LT4 KM will solve all false knock issues.

isn't the "sensor" on the drivers side in the block ? and the "module" in the cpu ?

Where's the knock module located on a 95 formula and how much does it cost? Thinking about changing it out when I install headers and exhaust.

The module is located in the ECM. Take it out, flip it over and there is a little cover with two screws that it is located under. You don't even need to disconnect the ECM harness or the battery to replace it.

As to cost, mid $20 range available from a number of sources. Check the other thread:

Thanks, I've tried to keep a pretty good record of all the different cars.
