Would this cause my #'s to be off?

So I went to the dyno yesterday and I have a 94 M6 Z and it has the 110mph speedo unfortunately. So, with this speedo, my govenor is set at like 105mph causing my car to stop reving at 5000rpm in 4th because of this. So we ran it in 3rd instead. Would this cause my dyno numbers to be very far off?

You'll need a tune to get rid of the limiter, and yes it will throw your numbers off.

5-10hp at most.
