Is it Worth it to Swap in A LS1 Gas Tank?

I saw a LS1 gas tank today and I want to buy one to put in my car. First off, they are made out of plastic instead of metal, secondly, they have an LS1 fuel pump in them, and I think they hold an extra gallon of gas. What problems will I run into trying to make this work? Is the output of the LS1 pump near the LT1?

Are the plug ins the same? How about the fuel line connections? What about the cannister that mounts on it?

I remember reading something about this before, but I never saw any evidence it will or wont work. Has anyone done this?

Yeah, LOL. Actually it's not really for horsepower, it's just another part/s that I can upgrade to make my car just a little bit more modernized. I am pretty surprised there isn't more people willing to try this mod or have attempted it.

Most people don't want to attempt it because you have to drop the rearend to pull the tank out. That is just a pain in the ***!!!
