Worth spending money on AC Delco sensors?

I'm looking to replace my TPS sensor, as my 2-3 shift has been hitting the rev-limiter at WOT most of the time. There also seem to be gaps in the throttle response, so, I figure why not replace it w/ 153k on the car. So, is it worth spending $44 on the AC Delco sensor, or would the $26 cheap one work the same? I just don't want to run into problems again, anyone have bad experience going cheap on sensors? Also, I've read on here the Bosch O2 sensors don't work out well on these cars? Should I stick with Delco for them to, they're EXPENSIVE, at least at OReilly's ($90something/each)!!!

I'm going to also replace my plugs with some NGK TR55s, that a good choice of plug for a mostly stock car. Gap at stock gap?

While I'm at it....my radio/power windows have been having intermittent outages. If I hit the dash hard enough, it'll come back on. Sometimes it just keeps going on and off, you get the picture. Is that a sign the BCM is going out? If so, I'll see if I can get one out of a car that just found it's way into salvage yard here .

Thanks in advance,
Nick

I just picked up 2 delco o2 sensors from gmpartsdirect for $91. I never priced the TPS but i'd guess it's a bit cheaper from them also.

Sounds like you need a tune up and transmission rebuild more than a TPS. Have you checked your old one with a multimeter?

You can save the money your worried about spending by correctly diagnosing your problems and not just throwing money at it.

As to your original question somewhere before all the cherished opinions and comments, yes they are worth it. Try the link given or check out advanceautoparts.com. They used to carry AC parts. Got my O2 sensors for $35 apiece a year or so ago. Not sure they still carry the line though. GM was working to essentially ban AC Delco from everywhere but dealers. Not sure if they got away with it or not.
