worth it or not?

Ok so I found this on ebay while browsing and wondered if it was worth it or if I could buy the rotating assembly and have the machining done cheaper. Let me know.

def. not!! try looking around at some reputable shops first like VRE, You can get better parts for around the same price

I just looked at vre and theirs is 3700 for what I want fo I am going to go that route. Anyone with any experience with VRE?

Another vote for VRE Great product, EXCELLENT customer service. Call Eric, tell him what you want. Let him build it from intake to oil pan. It's worth the money, trust me. When you call him, ask him about "that guy" in Florida .

The wrecking yard i went to today had 2 vet 2007 engines with heads for only $4000. There is nothing else but the block and heads with only 5 miles on them. I would call that a lot better deal then the one you showed.

Well for one I am looking at an LT1 NOT an LS motor. So those have no interest from me.

I am talking to them about the build so I will most likely end up with a 398 stroker VRE Racer series shortblock.

Also to those that have dealt with them, can they finish my SB in a naturale finish?
