Is it worth losing your power steering just to replace the alternator?

Is it worth losing power steering just to relocate the alternator?

Just wanted to know what your guy's opinions are on this.

why would you lose power steering replacing the alternator?

Sorry, what I meant to say was to relocate the alternator.

well, I have driven my car without power steering since late June. Its nott too bad, just sucks when trying to park the car in tight spaces. Ive got my new PS pump that im waiting to instal when I get my car back

Hey dude, how did you remove the pump, did you just run the belt where it normally would be a remove the pump?

forget all that man, i've driven cars with no power steering before, or more like had the P.S., but didn't have it hooked up.
It sucked bad, don't do it you will hate it, and your not gaining anything that good by doing it

but your still giving up your A/C...for $160. If you live in like maine or something I guess it would be ok.....

I still cant believe how many people complain about losing their A/C, I live in Ohio sure, but during the summer we can see 90+ days, and in two+ years I had never used my A/C once except when using the defroster like once. I thought thats what Ttops were for????

Not saying that like im pissed off about it, I just never realized how many people in Fbodies still love their AC

<----spoiled. i have had plenty without and now that i have it, i'm not giving it up. I've lived in CA,AZ,NM,TX and virginia, and I'll be damned if I give up my A/C lol. I just about died last summer when it went on the fritz
