is it worth it to get an electric water pump

how are they for daily drivers, i live in houston. some say in that kind of weather they do more bad then good, but im not sure. also is it a noticable mod.....pretty much i want to know the pros and cons about it

I don't think its the best mod.. I think it's a worthy mod though. . ITs kinda risky as w/ any electric motor.. could just go out at any minute.. Just keep a eye on that water temp gauge and you'll be happy w/ it.. Nice to cool the car off in the pit's as well..

I live in College Station, and I have a Meziere Elec WP. I love it. Just keep your eye on the temp guage to make sure it hasn't gone out. But, it should last a few years typically. It gave me a SOTP difference, and I've seen them dyno 10 rwhp and 11 rwtq on a car. Not bad, and it's great to cool your engine down very fast between runs (as long as you have a fan switch to keep your fans on while it's running). Your car can be off and it will run if your keys are in the on position. Pretty cool.
