Woo Hoo finally hit 11's
Re: Woo Hoo finally hit 11's
This is a full weight Formula. I weighed it at the track just before the runs and it was 3665 with me in it and 1/2 tank of gas. It's just awfully hard to get a full weight M6 car to 60' well enough to run 11's NA and as you can see I barely made it. My 60' time is a 1.754. An A4 or A3 in my car with a decent converter would probably 60' in the low 1.6 range or better.
The motor is a 355 with an Eagle bottom end. I run 93 pump gas at 12:1 compression. Running LT1 AI heads and a stock LT1 intake. 58 MM TB and I had to run with the headers uncapped since my B&B exhaust currently has the thing way choked up. The hydraulic cam is kinda like an XE and I'm supposed to keep my mouth shut about the exact specs, sorry. But it is very streetable with, high ramprates, not a ton of overlap, and about .600 lift with my 1.6 rockers. The cam behaves a lot like my old CC306 only a little more street friendly.
Thanks for the congrats guys. Now, how do I get to 11.50's

Re: Woo Hoo finally hit 11's
You are making enough power just get that thing to 60' and you should run 11.50's no problem. I ran 11.50's@117mph awhile back with low 1.6 60's. It's all in your suspension and tire setup. Later Clint

It looks like from your sig, you are running and A4 or A3 car with a decent stall converter. I'm pretty sure I could drill a mid to low 1.6X 60' time if I ditched the M6. The torque multiplication of the converter seems to launch cars much better than a good ol clutch dump for some reason. My car seemed to hook well this weekend. My suspension mod list includes:
Subframes, LCA brackets, Spohn LCA's, Spohn Torque arm, 15" Hoosier Quicktime Pro's 26 X 11.5, Skinnies on the front, Air bag in right rear. I'm still running stock springs, stock shocks, and stock front and rear sway bars.

Re: Woo Hoo finally hit 11's
WooHoo again! Hit some awesome Cecil County air on Sunday
11.6's at 121MPH all friggen day long. Plus, I didn't lift to shift and managed to make it through the day without trashing the T56
60' times were still only 1.7x's. It's tough to get these overweight T56 cars off the line.
Happy Camper

Nice improvement.
Any idea what the DA was. How about air temp. I'm trying to figure out what some decent cool air might cut off my times. Hopefully a tenth or two.
