wont turn over

97 camaro z28 Lt1 5.7

hose sprung a leak so it ended up sitting in the garage 3-4 months. After I fix the hose I start the car up, no problem starting, do all the coolant bleeder crap and long story short, get excited to go drive this thing after a while so I take off down the road... All of a sudden starts sputtering, and engine dies.... has not started since.

I put in a new fuel filter, fuel pump is only a year or so old. new battery

It cranks just fine sounds like it wants to start but wont turn over. I do hear the fuel pump cycle when I turn on the key, and the security light is not on.

anyone have an idea? I' getting close to the point of just sending it up to firestone to fix.

Re: wont turn over

Scan it for codes. Check the fuel pressure. Sounds like the Opti may have got wet, plug wire terminals are corroding, etc.
