hey everyone

this weekend i had a bad oil leak coming from a front seal so i replaced everything, new opti, new waterpump, new front seals (hole timing cover kit) i had replaced the wires and sparkplugs about 4 weeks before this and she was running better then ever stoped poping when reved and what not.

well after doing all this i started it up seemed fine gave it a rev and she poped really bad huge backfire around 3-5k rpm. well i figured it was my air/fuel or my timing wasnt sure. lowered the car ran pretty good.

Next day took her out ran fine still poped was gonna take it to the dyno to check air presure and fuel. on the way i was in 4th gear hit the gas and it just died....tried to start it kicked over and died right away.
now it wont start but sounds like it wants to, once in awhile it will start BUT RPMS are going Crazy if i hold rev at 5k she bounces down to 1 or 2k and shoots back up, sometimes she will idle nice and then just shut off. few times shed start and cut off before i even let go of the key.

not sure what this could be, timing off? or think i got a fuel problem now? i know my fuel filter is bent from a tractor trailer shreding tires in front of me but this was like 4 months ago and i just relized that was bent while under car checking things. an is there a way to check or fix my timing without pulling the timing cover off?

could be your TPS, mine went on me and it would bog out while on the highway randomly, or rev at odd times, and then finally it just wouldnt start, or stay started.
Unplug your TPS, if the car starts and runs fine, that was your problem.
