if you can sit there with your foot on the gas helping it idle at about 1000rpm or so, and it doesn sound ****ed up...as in backfiring sputtering bad vibrations etc.etc. (stuff really out of the norm) i dont think you will have too much issue with it nad put money on the pcm needing time too adjust for the new cam

3/4 past 0 is too tight. Factory is 1/2 turn I usually set mine 1/8 to 1/4 turn.

Does it backfire or anything? I had a similar problem after i had my motor apart and i had just got two plug wires turned around. I don't know why it still wouldn't idle but as soon as you let off the gas it would die.

I was mistaken, he did have them at 1/2 past 0. Well Simple was right, we just let it run for about a half hour and now it idles fine. Now all he's gotta do is fix a leak somewhere in the y-pipe then i can take the car. Thanx for the help.
