Won't Stay Running

Well here's my newest problem. I bypassed the theft deterrent relay by jumping the purple and yellow wires. So now I can get it to start each time I turn the key, but it will only run for about 2 or 3 seconds. It has the same pattern every time where it will rev up a little and then die right away. It is a freshly rebuilt lt1 from a 95' camaro that I put into my 94' camaro. All the wiring is from the donor 95'. It is an automatic car. I was wondering if it was still the VATS that could be cutting the fuel supply from the fuel injectors. I tried the resistor trick with no luck. When I put the fuel pressure gauge on the car, it will jump up to 43 psi of fuel pressure right away when I turn the key to prime the fuel pump, but then it will drop almost all the way down after a few seconds. Not sure if it could be my regulator letting the fuel go back to the tank? I honestly don't know and I need some ideas. Here's a video clip of what it is doing when we start it. Thanks guys

Did you check for possible differences between the body connector pinouts on the 94 and 95 as I suggested in the other thread?

Have you looked for any trouble codes (DTC 46) that might indicate the PCM is not getting the fuel enable signal from the VATS module? Bypassing the starter enable is only half of the VATS.

I swapped the dash harness out as well so that every bit of wiring in the car is from the 95'

I have not looked for codes because I do not have an OBD1 scanner. I am assuming it is the VATS system cutting the fuel supply. I don't know if it could be the key. It is a key that was made from somewhere other than a GM dealership and it looks very old and worn. I'm gonna try to get a new key today from my chevy dealership to see what happens

For the time and money you spend guessing about stuff, an investment in a way to scan is a wise decision. If you work on modern cars, it is a must have and will save you money in the long run.
