Wont start when hot

I searched and Im pretty sure its the Ignition Control Module, but I would like to make sure with you guys. This is for my friends 1997 Z28, not mine. His car starts up just fine when its cold, but when the car is hot, it either wont start or has a VERY hard time starting. He works at an Acura Dealership and he took one of his coworkers for a drive for a lil bit in it and when he came back, it wouldnt start up again. So he blew air on the ICM for a while and it then started. He has a MSD blaster coil, other than that, im pretty sure his ignition system is stock. Thanks all!

I had a similar problem, what happened was there is some thermal grease between the ICM and the mounting plate that had been washed away by solvents when cleaning the engine. The ICM was overheating from the hot AZ sun and the lack of heat dissepation. I fixed it by purchasing some good thermal grease used for computer cpu's, the grey stuff, cleaning both surfaces and putting a even coat between the ICM and the bracket. Never had a problem after that.
