wont start after Heads and cam

I tried dropping the belt and that didn't help any thing. I will try and remove it tomorrow and see if that makes a difference. I think I will also try and re adjust the lash.

Well guys I tried pulling the alternator and I re-adjusted the lash and it would not start. I tried giving it gas again and it starts up and runs pretty smoothly. But it still will not idle.

I guess I will pull the opti tomorrow and see how it looks.

Is the idel screw on the Throttle Body adjusted corectly ? That affects where your car idles.

No the idle screw has not been ajusted. From reading here I was under the inpresstion that I should not mess with it. Is this not true.

I found the problem it was a bad IAC. The car idles great now.

check for codes? maybe the opti harness or the connection check that or scan the car for codes.
