won't go into reverse

My car won't let me into reverse. All other gears are fine. completely blocked off to reverse. Whats wrong? I just eliminated skip shift by unplugging the solenoid and using a 2.2 resistor, but I didnt tape it or anything. I thought this was the problem so I plugged the solenoid back in. It didn't work though. I still can't shift into reverse. Any feedback would be appreciated

have you recently installed a clutch..if so the flywheel could have ben shaved too much is you got it resurfaced. if not it could be a fw other things but check to make sure that your floor mat isnt keeping you from engaginf the clutch pedal all the way in.... this sounds funny but i took my car to three mechanics untill we figured out that it was the mat after i had gotten a new clutch and flywheel put in.....they needed to be replaced so that wasnt te reason

Not a new clutch. Its at least 2 years old. How can I contact shoebox? Is it possible to replace the solenoid?
